Behaviour & Professionalism
POLICY
Standards of behaviour, maturity, and professional conduct on-site and in communications.
# Behaviour & Professionalism
---
# Behaviour
While on site, all BRU personnel must maintain a certain level of behavioural standards.
This includes and is not limited to:
- Treating **ALL** personnel with respect no matter their Department and Clearances (This expands to IRL Factors such as race, religions, gender, etc.).
- No degenerative discussions in game or on SI related channels/discords; keep these "topics" outside of SI.
---
# Professionalism
While on site **ALL** members of BRU must maintain a level of professionalism; do not goof off in public areas.
- All BRU members must maintain respect to everyone within and outside of the Biohazard Response Unit.
- While on site behave and act professionally; full grammar is not required but is advised. Additionally you should behave as a normal human being. Do not act degenerative.
- No sexual or suggestive content is permitted within BRU as well as in Synergy Incorporated.
Activity, LoA, & Experience Information
ACTIVITY
Quota requirements, Leave of Absence guidelines, and Experience (XP / HXP) point allocations.
# Quota [Inactive]
---
**Quota is used to track Biohazard Response Unit members activity.**
### Biohazard Response Unit Quota:
N/a
- **BRU members may only deploy on site when they are actually needed (Breaches/Escort duties).**
- **A maximum of one unit may guard the Research Sector Checkpoint until site expansion.**
---
# Leave of Absence [LoA’s]
---
This is a Roblox SCPF-like group and as such, we know that not everyone can no-life this group nor do we want you to. If you are unable to fulfil the quota, every member has the ability to request a Leave of Absence (LOA) which will exempt you from the current quota cycle.
**Note:** There is a limit on LoAs. Maximum time allowed off is 6 months unless the reasoning is valid (example: Long distance sailing).
LoAs cannot be used to bypass the quota cycle; if found out, it will result in a disciplinary strike.
---
# Promotion Points
---
Members of the Biohazard Response Unit use a point system for promotions. Personnel are able to earn these points through on-site events (Breach Response and Escorts), and off-site events (Combat Trainings and Game Nights).
### Applicable Instances for XP:
**On-Site Events**
- ~~Patrols - 3 XP~~
- Escorting - 1 XP
- Breach Response - 2 XP
**Off-Site Events**
- Combat Trainings - 2 XP
- Breach Handling Trainings - 2 XP
- Drill Trainings - 2 XP
- Game Nights - 1 XP
### Applicable Instances for HXP:
Hosting XP (HXP) is given to MR+ for event hosting; all events give the same amount of HXP. Co-hosting events will give the same HXP as the host.
**The following events give HXP:**
- ~~Patrols~~
- Combat Trainings
- Breach Handling Trainings
- Drill Trainings
- Game Nights
Disciplinary System
DISCIPLINE
Disciplinary and activity strike policies, 3-strike ladder, and appeal procedures.
# Disciplinary System Overview
---
There are two types of strikes in BRU:
1. **Disciplinary strikes**: These are handed out if the Operative in question has broken regulations in either the BRU Handbook, SD Handbook, or the Code of Ethics.
2. **Activity strikes**: If BRU personnel do not complete their assigned Quota, they will be given an activity strike.
---
# Strike Ladder
---
The Biohazard Response Unit uses a 3-strike system like all the other departments for both disciplinary strikes and activity strikes. Depending on the significance of the infraction, the general order of the 3-strike system goes as follows:
*Suspensions may be given out depending on the severity.*
- **1 Strike** - Warning
- **2 Strikes** - 2nd Warning
- **3 Strikes** - Exile
*This applies to both disciplinary and activity strikes.*
---
# Appealing Strikes
---
Strikes will be removed after a 4-month period; however, they will still be logged against your user until they are appealed.
You may appeal a strike after 1 month by direct messaging an HR+ of BRU and stating your reasoning for your appeal.
